Comments for R U Tough Enough - A website for Rob Myers a 1500 meter runner from the USA

My name is Rob Myers and I'm a 1500 meter runner from the USA. The goal of this website is to promote the sport of running, specifically distance running. I want to do this by bringing together, in one spot, all of my experiences over the years as a distance runner(Miler), from my high school years, to my current career as a professional runner with Saucony where I’m fortunate enough to travel the world to compete. I’ve competed on 3 USA World Championship Teams, won 3 indoor USA National 1500 Meter Titles, visited over 12 countries, and met people from all over. This is an opportunity for me to give back to the sport of running, so I hope you enjoy the site. Check out all the different areas of the site from my blogs, videos and pics, training resources, my sponsors, and any other links that might be useful.

Hey Man,
I wish they were for purchase but they are just being made for me. I definitely think that they are cool though. I can't wait to sport them.

Jeroen,
Thanks for your question.
Here is what I found out from Saucony.
The shoe will come out 11/1/10

" The shoe is our high end cushion shoe. The general idea is a blend between cushion and responsiveness. Cushion being for impact and responsiveness being for energy return. Added arch support with the arc lock system and an open weave air mesh for breathability" -Tony

The pair I have are Blue, Silver, Black and White

I hope this helps some.
Rob

Oh yeah... Impressive shoe collection you have.

Good to see you are still running. Looks like you are back working on the farm some. How are your parents, and brothers doing? Well take care and keep running.

Rob,

Like Rocky back to where whence you came, I'd love to read your thoughts on training, sometimes the road less traveled has the most scenic views! Don't give up on the dream brother.

Cheering you on from South Carolina.
